These are the Classic Max Fleisher
Cartoons for you to view here or download at your convience. I sort of
hacked to get these and put them here for our convience. When the on line
locations I was linking to started to go poof I found them in another location
downloaded them and put them on my server. I'm not a big fan of poof. Now
we have a complete set.
Episode 01 The Mad
Scientist
The first episode
where we are first introduced to the man of steel. We find out a mad
scientist has sent a letter to the
Daily Planet threatening to destroy the city with a destructive ray. Lois knows where he is and takes her plane up to get the
scoop. The scientist captures her and uses his ray to destroy a bridge. When
Clark sees the newsflash he runs to the stockroom to change
into Superman and is just leaving when the ray hits the Daily Planet, making it
fall over. Clark rights it and goes off to rescue Lois. He destroys the ray and drops the
villain in jail.

Episode 02
The Mechanical Monsters
Flying robots are used to steal from a
jewel exhibit and Lois climbs inside one to try
and find where they're coming from. Clark uses his
x-ray vision after changing into Superman to find her and
wrestles with the robot in the sky, landing on telephone pole
lines. He struggles a bit to get free and the robot
has reached it master. Lois is put on a platform that moves
toward a vat of hot metal. Superman defeats the robots and
rescues
Lois.

Episode 03 Billion Dollar
Limited
A billion dollars in
gold bars are being moved to the Mint by train. Lois goes along to write about
the story. Masked men chase after the train and wrestle the conductor and an
armed guard off the train and it continues on out of control. A station tries to
signal the train but gets no response and warns other stations and Clark at the
Daily Planet hears about it. He changes and goes to work on keeping the train on
the tracks as a series of explosions threatens to derail it. The criminals use a
bomb to finally blow up the engine, but Superman rescues Lois and delivers the
gold on time.

Episode 04
The Artic Giant
A dinosaur is
discovered in Siberia frozen in ice. The Daily Planet learns it may still be
alive after it is brought to be displayed in America. A can of oil falls in the
generator while Lois is getting a tour and the ice melts, letting the dinosaur
out. It destroys the building, trapping Lois. Clark changes and sets about
rescuing Lois and fixing the path of destruction left by the dinosaur, finally
tying it up with thick metal cords from a bridge.

Episode 05 The
Bulleteers
Police headquarters
are destroyed by the Bulleteers who insist on all the money in the city treasury
or they will continue to destroy things. The mayor says he will not and after
they read it in the Daily Planet they destroy a power plant. Lois takes
advantage to go off and investigate. Clark changes and races off to prevent the
rocket ship and the Bulleteers from robbing the treasury. He succeeds in
covering Lois with debris and rescues her, which results in the building finally
tumbling and covering him in debris. Lois tries to sabotage the rocket ship and
ends up getting kidnapped where she is rescued again by Superman after he
escapes from the debris.

Episode 06 The Magnetic
Telescope
A giant magnet is used
to pull a comet out of orbit and it rolls through town and into the harbor. The
scientist behind it says he will use the magnet to bring another comet close to
Earth before sending it back into space. The police try to stop him and turn off
the power after he has drawn the comet close to Earth, which will result in it
hitting for sure. It hits another space body and dozens of smaller meteorites
hit the observatory where Lois is trapped. Clark hears a phone call she places
and speeds out to rescue her. He uses himself to conduct power to get the magnet
working while Lois uses the magnet to guide the comet back away from the Earth.
Lois kisses a figure she thinks is Superman but it turns out to be Clark
instead.

Episode 07 Electric
Earthquake
A Native American
comes to the daily Planet and says his people own Manhattan and he wants
everyone else out or else modern science will convince them. Lois follows him to
the waterfront and stows away in his boat to his secret hideaway.. They use an
elevator to go to his underwater lab where he secures her in a chair. Various
tuning forks are hooked to electricity and set of explosions and earthquakes in
the city. Clark changes and follows these disturbances to the waterfront where
he pulls and rearranges the cords and forks. This causes a hole and the
scientist comes up and avoids capture by telling Superman that Lois is
downstairs and sends a bomb down the elevator. Superman rescues Lois before the
bomb goes off and apprehends the scientist in his boat.

Episode 08 Volcano
A populated island with a volcano is facing a major eruption.
Clark and Lois go to write about it but Clark is forced to sit at the police
station because he has misplaced his press pass. The plan is to blow up one side
of the crater funneling the lava away from the inhabitants but the eruption
starts early and a boulder severs the dynamite cord. Clark hears the eruptions
and changes, moving Lois to safety and reconnecting the dynamite cord. Back at
the daily Planet Clark notices his press pass in Lois's
purse.

Epidsode 09 Terror onThe
Midway
Lois and Clark are at the
circus where Lois is whining, Clark heads back to the daily Plant and meanwhile
a monkey lets out a gorilla that terrorizes the audience chasing down a little
girl. Lois distracts tit from the girl but becomes the target. Clark hears
sirens and flags a taxi. When Clark arrives elephants have let other circus
animals out and he changes and herds them back up safely. Lois has been cornered
on the high wire and he has to jump high to save her and ends up falling with
the gorilla and starting a fire. He tosses the gorilla into the safety net and
rescues Lois.

Episode 10 Japoteurs
America has built the world's largest bomber plane and Japanese
agents stow away intending to steal it. Lois hides as well, hoping for a better
story and comes out of a locker to find the crew has been tied up. She radios
for help but the Japanese drop a bomb preventing planes from taking off without
a runway. Clark changes and heads up to save Lois from being tossed out the bomb
chute. He overcomes the first two agents and the third panics and smashes the
controls of the plane. He safely sets Lois back on the ground and then does the
same with the plane.

Episode 11 Showdown
A Superman impostor is going on a crime spree when Clark and Lois
meet up with him at the opera where Clark has fallen asleep. Lois sneaks out and
catches the crook and rips the "S" off his costume, making her believe it really
is Superman. Clark changes and the two Supermans get in a tussle on the roof,
where the real one deflects bullets. Back at the crime layer Superman is locked
in a chasm with a desk over it while the criminals get away by making a hole in
a vault. Superman escapes and steps between their car and a police car with Lois
inside. Later Clark is dozing when Lois comes back to the office to type up her
story.

Episode 12 Eleventh
Hour
Lois and Clark are interned
Yokohama. Every night at eleven Clark changes, breaks out and sabotages the
Japanese and sneaks back to his cell. The Japanese put up signs saying that Lois
will be killed if he continues and he notices but only after it is too late. He
saves her from a firing squad by deflecting the bullets. As she is being
interviewed on her way home she tells how Clark is still interned but Superman
promised to keep him safe. Back in Yokohama at eleven at night more explosions
erupt as Superman continues his sabotage.

Episode 13 Destruction Inc
A security guard for a munitions plant is found dead in the swamp
and Lois decides to go undercover to find out more. She hears two men being
praised for a good job disposing of the body, and how a switch will be thrown by
his replacement with explosives connected. When Lois is found out she is
launched in a torpedo filled with dynamite towards a trash barge. The new
watchmen tries to help but is buried under scrap metal. Superman emerges from
the metal and removes the torpedo from the water and frees Lois. He then goes
after the men responsible, ruins the explosive switch, and diverts a truck full
of TNT being driven into the factory. The new watchman is revealed to be Clark
in disguise.

Episode 14 The Mummy Strikes
An Egyptian specialist is murdered and his assistant is found
guilty. A colleague of theirs contacts Clark with some more information and Lois
overhears and follows him. The dead scientist Dr. Jordan had found a serum of
life and injected it into the mummies of a pharaoh's guards before managing to
open the pharaoh's sarcophagus. Clark opens the outer casket and a gem glows
bringing the guards back to life. Clark is throw into a casket but breaks out as
Superman just in time to save the colleague and Lois from being thrown into a
fiery pit. Clark gets to write about this story as Lois has bandaged
hands.

Episode 15 Jungle
Drums
Lois is flying over a Nazi
camp where they are pretending to be African deities and her plane is shot down.
Her pilot gives her the coordinates to the American fleet before he dies and the
Nazis try to get it out of her. They allow the Africans to burn her on a pyre
even after the Africans find the coordinates. The Nazis send their submarines to
the fleet, as Lois is getting nice and warm. Clark flies over at this point and
parachutes and changes to save her. Lois uses a Nazi costume to sneak into the
base and radio the Americans but a Nazi tries to stop her. Superman prevents him
from ruining the radio console and the Americans bomb the submarine fleet before
it can do any damage.

Episode 16 The Underground World
The Daily Planet finances an underground exploration and Lois and
Clark accompany the man Henderson into the caves. Lois and Henderson set out in
a boat and plan to meet up with Clark later on. While unloading the boat it
floats away causing them to chase it, when Clark looks for them later he cannot
find them. He continues on and finds they have been captured by half bird half
human creatures and are about to be turned into statues. After changing and
saving Lois and Henderson he throws a bomb to close off the caves and contain
the strange creatures. Back at the Daily Planet Perry burns the story and tells
Lois no one would ever believe it.

Episode 17 Secret Agent
Clark is at a store when a car crashes through the window while
chasing another car. The people get out, steal another car and continue on. The
woman being chased is saved by the police and Clark jumps on the second car. The
woman is a spy and needs to bring a list of names to Washington so an escort
takes her to the airport where they are ambushed. She is caught on a turning
bridge by the villains and passes out on the tracks that allow it to turn. Clark
has allowed himself to be caught and changes once alone proceeding to trap some
of the villains before rushing to push the bridge off its tracks. He flies the
woman to Washington himself.
